This is the first blog entry for the new Student Mess website.


Its been 1 year in the making but its finally arrived, and we hope you like it.


For those of you who don't know, Student Mess is designed to let medical students/doctors share notes, videos, podcasts, pictures etc... with each other to make life at medical school that little bit easier.


This is a brand new site, which means we're just getting started in terms of content. Which is where you come in!


In order for all our users to get the most from the site we need everybody to contribute. If you've benefited from some of the material already on the site then why not give something back by uploading things that you think will help others.


If everybody contributes something then the idea is to make Student Mess a solid resource for medical students to learn from.


As well as the educational side, the new website offers a great community too. You can socialise with existing friends or even make some new ones from all over the world.


All members have something to gain from this website, if you share material that you think will help your colleagues somebody is bound to share something that will benefit you. So its win win!


Remember for the site to work its down to its members, so lets make this a solid platform for medics and get sharing.


Don't forget to tell all your friends about it too so that we can grow the content on the site as quickly as possible.
